Civil Engineering major at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, graduated June 2015. Student member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, project leader of a group of 11 students for 9 month long project. Conducted undergraduate research with visiting Chinese Scholar, Dr. Peng Ruidong, along with Vice Chair of Civil Engineering at Cal Poly, Dr. Ronald Yeung on dam foundation erosion due to overtopping.
Experience
I have been tutoring for over 5 years now. I truly enjoy teaching, and passing on knowledge to others. As a civil engineering graduate, I have built a skill-base in a variety of subjects, including: mathematics, from algebra to calculus, physics, geology, mechanics of materials, and more general programs like Microsoft Word and Excel. Further, the ability to communicate is highly emphasized, from report formatting, PowerPoint presentations, and public speaking.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, particularly fiction. My wife and I met as fans of the Dresden Files novel series. I was married on May 31st, 2015 to the beautiful woman in my profile. Apart from reading and getting married, I enjoy restoring classic cars. More specifically, classic Chevrolet's. Current projects include a small window 57 Chevy short-bed pickup, a 56 Chevrolet 210 2-door sedan, and my personal darling and favorite, a 66 Chevelle, with a 383 c.i. small block I put together myself. I also enjoy building personal computers, with my new hobby being a watercooled intel-based machine.
